It’s that time of year again—time to start getting Christmas gift ideas for the moms in your life! If we’re being honest, it can often be hard to find the perfect gift for a mom.
So often moms are focused on getting gifts for the babies, gifts for the toddlers, gifts for the older kids, and everyone else. There’s a lot to do around the holiday season, and it can often be difficult for moms to get out of that survival mode and actually thrive through the holiday season.
And in the midst of making Christmas magical for everyone else, most moms don’t have a whole lot of time to think about what they would like for Christmas themselves.
So, in this post, I want to share with you some ideas for Christmas gifts that I think most moms will appreciate and enjoy.

Christmas Gift Ideas Moms Will Truly Appreciate
Bath & Body Works Sugar Scrub
I got some sugar scrub for the first time this year, and it is amazing!
Sugar scrub can be used in the shower to exfoliate the skin. It effectively gets rid of dead skin and leaves your skin incredibly smooth.
Honestly, it feels amazing, and will leave her feeling like a new woman.
Spa Set

Spa sets are one item I’m fairly certain just about every mom loves and enjoys. I know personally, I’ve become a big fan of spa sets, face masks, and cute, comfy clothes.
Being a mom is hard, and most moms like gifts that make them feel a little more like their old selves—before the sleep deprivation hit and everything started smelling like milk.
A lot of times moms just want to feel cute, energized, and refreshed. And spa sets can definitely help with that much needed self care time. Personally, I’m a fan of Spa Luxetique spa sets—I absolutely love their Ocean scented gift basket. Especially the included Shea butter body lotion!
Rachel Allene Coffee Mug

Rachel Allene is a small shop owner I discovered through Instagram. And I have to say, I absolutely love her products!
She has the cutest mugs I’ve ever seen, and her holiday line of mugs are awesome! Just looking at her Instagram mug photos make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Definitely a must to bring the magic of Christmas to every mom you know!
Rachel is also an incredibly sweet person, has the cutest kid ever, and helps to educate small shop owners. Click here to check out her shop.
Plush Blankets
I think just about every mom has a secret weakness for anything soft and comfy. It can’t possibly be just me!
One soft comfort item I love—as well as many other moms—is soft throw blankets. The plusher, the better!
Even lightweight fleece blankets are surprisingly warm. Which makes them the perfect blanket to cuddle up with for a nap or binge watching your favorite TV show.
I also love that good throw blankets don’t have to be expensive. Some of my favorite plush/fleece blankets were under $15, making them perfect for inexpensive Christmas gifts.
Sweet Peas and Sweeties Apparel
Another small shop that I absolutely love is Sweet peas & Sweeties! She has the absolute cutest T-shirts for moms and toddlers, as well as onesies for babies.
One thing I love about the shirts in this shop is how soft they are! I’ll be honest, I was really surprised to find how soft the material was.
I also really love that she has Mommy & me shirts—they’re so cute and a great way to match your little one. Click here to shop or check her out on Instagram.
Coffee/Food Gift Cards
Is there ever enough coffee for moms? Probably not. If you know a mom who drinks coffee—or even another hot beverage such as hot chocolate—consider getting her a coffee gift card.
Nothing says “I see you, and you’re loved and appreciated” like a hot cup of your favorite beverage.
Or, if she’s not into coffee, try a gift card to her favorite food place. I know I always personally appreciate it when someone gifts me a Panera gift card. Those mango smoothies are the absolute best!
And, if the mom you’re thinking about lives a distance from you, you might consider getting her a gift card that can be send to her via email. That way, you don’t have to worry about mailing it.
Causebox
Alright, in the interest of transparency and full disclosure, I have not personally tried Causebox. BUT. I really, really, want to!
Causebox is a seasonal subscription box that focuses on providing quality, ethically produced products every season. I’ve kept an eye on (*cough*stalked*cough*) their website and Facebook page for at least a year now. Every time they’ve revealed what’s included in a season’s box, I’ve absolutely loved it.
I really think Causebox is a great ideas for a Christmas gift for moms. You could get just one box, or sign her up for an annual membership so she can get a total of four boxes over the course of the year.
Shiatsu Neck, Back, Body Massager
Another thing I think most moms have in common is the need for a good massage. Even if you have the most well behaved kids ever, motherhood can be a stressful endeavor.
And all that stress leads to knots and tension in your muscles—especially in your neck, shoulders, and back.
And sometimes, this tension doesn’t even come from stress. I know personally I ended up with an inflamed tendon/muscle condition in my neck just from breastfeeding and taking care of my baby. Being a mom can be rough!
For all those reasons, a neck, back, or body massager would make a fantastic gift for a mom! I got a neck and shoulder shiatsu massager last year for Christmas, and it felt so good.
If you really want to show your appreciation to the mother in your life, you can even get ones that will massage the entire torso.
Trinket Tray
Trinket trays are definitely one item that play into every mom’s need to have something beautiful and delicate in her possession.
Life with babies and toddlers can be difficult, especially when it requires that anything breakable be put away until the kids are older. While I love my son, it made me a bit sad when that time came for us.
However, it is definitely possible to find creative ways to bring that back into a mom’s life. One such way is a trinket or ring tray.
These little trays are made especially for keeping loose rings and other jewelry. And, they give back a little bit of that special feeling of having something delicate in your room.
Mama Jewelry
Another great gift idea for moms is “mama” jewelry. This gift is particularly good for little kids looking to get mom a special Christmas present.
Amazon has a huge selection of this kind of jewelry to choose from, but one of my personal favorites is this Mama Bear pendant.
This is such a cute Christmas gift idea for a mom. There’s even several different variations of it. You can even get it as a bangle or a bar necklace.
You can check out this one on Amazon, or shop other adorable “mama” jewelry.
Candle
Clique? Maybe. But I think some cliques are there for a reason. As simple as it may be, I think most moms enjoy a nice smelling candle.
Personally, I’m a big fan of Yankee Candles. They are quality candles that smell great, and they have a lot of scents to choose from.
Find out a mom’s favorite candle and grab her one for Christmas or as a stocking stuffer. Some of my personal favorite scents are French Vanilla, Cinnamon Stick, and Evergreen Spruce.
Diffuser
On the flip side of candles, a lot of moms are switching to diffusers in place of candles. If the mom you have in mind is leaning that way, getting her a cute diffuser can be a great gift that she will love and appreciate.
Diffusers make great gifts for moms who are into essential oils and natural products. The styles available are also pretty diverse—meaning you’ll sure to find one that matches the other decor and style of a mom’s home and tastes.
Lotion
Lotion is an especially good gift for a new mom. It’s no secret that moms change multiple diapers again, but what many people forget is that the constant hand washing tend to lead to dry skin. Eventually this can lead to cracked, bleeding hands, which is no fun for mom.
And of course, this only becomes a bigger problem in the winter and around Christmas time. One great gift for moms that helps to remedy this problem is lotion.
One lotion that I have absolutely loved is BeautiControl Manicure Spa Extreme Hand Repair Cream. I’ve always had drier skin, and in the winter it gets really bad. Since having a baby, my dry skin has gotten a bit out of control. When I was introduced to this hand cream, all that instantly changed!
This is literally the only hand cream that has quickly repaired the dried out skin on my hand. And I’m talking literally overnight. I don’t even have to put it on every night like I used to with other hand creams. In my opinion, this is an absolutely fantastic gift for moms and a must have for new moms!
Instant Manicure
On the same note as lotion and skin repair, I also love BeautiControl’s Instant Manicure. It’s quick, easy to use, and make’s your skin feel amazing!
I’ve personally had mine for two years, and there’s still plenty left and still works great. It has Dead Sea salt in it, which is super good for your skin.
When applying, it helps to take off dried out, dead skin and leave your hands feeling so ridiculously smooth. I absolutely love this stuff and highly recommend it to any moms out there!
Comfy Sweatpants
I think it’s pretty much a given that moms of littles enjoy comfort items. If you’re looking for Christmas gift ideas for the moms in your life, definitely consider getting her a new pair of comfy sweatpants.
Whether for bed, lounging around, or day to day wear, comfortable sweatpants are a must. These also make great gifts for brand new moms still going through the postpartum period.
This particular pair found it’s way onto my list of clothes to buy after hearing great reviews on it on Instagram. Definitely check them out—they also have a lot of other patterns to choose from!
Quiet Morning/Afternoon/Evening
Of course, if you’re looking for an inexpensive option that will still mean a lot, you might try giving a mom a quiet morning, afternoon, or evening.
After all, some of the greatest Christmas gift ideas for moms have nothing to do with a “things” and everything to do with making her feel special. Probably the best gift you can give is to make her feel loved, seen, and understood.
This Christmas, try making that your ultimate goal—to alleviate some of the stress and show her you understand her, care about her, and appreciate her.
