It’s Friday! It’s been a busy week (month…) here at theMomCorner as I was preparing to officially launch the blog. Now that it’s all up and running, I’ve decided that every Friday, for the foreseeable future, I want to do a roundup of posts from other blogs that I found helpful throughout the week. This week I want to focus on posts that contained blogging tips and tricks.
I’m sure I haven’t implemented all of them yet, and definitely haven’t mastered them yet, but all of these posts contain fantastic tips to help you make the most out of your blog. Enjoy, and if you found something helpful, let me know in the comments below!
Disclosure: All links within the roundup will take you to the original post. Any blurb accompanying a link is purely my opinion. TheMomCorner is not associated with any of these blogs, nor was I compensated in any way for recommending these posts/blogs. TheMomCorner is not responsible for any content found on these blogs.
Blogging Tips Roundup
Over at Twins Mommy I stumbled across a fantastic post about what you can send to your email subscribers, other than your newest blog post. This post is full of great ideas to help you improve your email list. It was definitely a help to me as I work on my own subscriber list and emails. Definitely check it out!
This post on The Creative Girl Boss Tribe was super helpful to me as I was brainstorming blog content this week. It helped me get a better grip on the concept of evergreen content. I’ve definitely been able to drum up some more solid evergreen ideas for future posts because of it. Check it out here!
Knowing that you have to have your blog all legal and protected can be a bit intimidating. Thankful there are many seasoned bloggers who are willing to share their know-how with us! Over at Jade&Oak, Jackie provides five ways to quickly and easily make sure your blog is legal. This is great information, and totally necessary for any blog. Check it out here!
If you’re looking to monetize your blog, sponsored posts are one way to do it. At Very Anxious Mommy, Heather has a great post about how to do exactly that. And, bonus, she even includes where to actively find these opportunities! This is a definite plus for me, and I highly recommend checking it out if you think this route might be for you.
Last but certainly not least, Kari at Keep It Simple DIY has a great post about how to make your own photos to use on your blog posts. I’ve been toying with this idea as opposed to using free stock photos, and she made it super simple! I don’t know why I had it in my head that it was more than I could pull off, but Kari takes you through it step by step so that anyone can make an awesome looking photo to use! Definitely check this one out!
